Can you get a free room up-grade at airport check-in?
Alamo rental desk--Where? Alamo shuttle to lot--Where?
I know I've ask a lot. We usually get the hotels limo to pick us up/drop us off ..you could try that also.
Celeb sightings are usually at the Hard Rock, the better restaurants late at night, and at the Bellagio/Ceasars,casinos.
Just my experiences:)

Airport check in is a great thing, esp since MGM is so monstrous in size.
Seems that EVERYONE asks for free upgrades these days. The clerks will sometimes give them away if they're ina good mood, etc. (But I think they get tired of being asked this all the time).

Celebs don't want to be hassled and tend to avoid places with lots of tourist traffic, that is lots of people milling about, coming and going.
They used to hang out at Desert Inn a lot because it wasn't a tourist spot.
They tend to avoid public gaming areas.
Anyplace you're likely to be, they're likely NOT to be (and they want it that way).

Have seen celebs on weekends. Saw some at Light at Bellagio and Ghostbar at Palms.

They won't be at MGM - celebreties would never choose to stay in such a huge place where it takes 1/2 hour just to walk across the casino.

What have you done that is so special that you deserve a room upgrade?

The one and only time I saw a celebrity in Vegas was when I saw Whoopi Goldberg playing poker at Paris. She was in town performing at either Paris or Bally's (they're connected, so I don't remember which) and one afternoon I saw her at a private, high stakes poker table in the casino. Those tables are in a special glassed-off room and not just anybody can wander in. She looked like she was having fun, anyway.

So maybe celebs who are in town on a limited engagement do their gambling in the hotel they're playing at?

Try Nobu in the Hard Rock--LA people love good sushi.
