Castle Inn in SF-good,bad ?

Have been looking for a hotel with free parking in SF. Castle Inn boasts this and is located on 1565 Broadway. Wanting to know if area is safe & hotel is OK ? Thanks

The folks who post on TripAdvisor seem to be satisfied with it.

Cow Hollow Inn and Suites is another old-standby with parking included in the room rate.

There is no safety issue at either location.

mrswom, it's not a bad location, but it's not where I would choose to stay either. Take a look at the Cow Hollow Suites and Columbus Motor Inn. The biggest problem with the Castle Inn is it's not near the neighborhoods I mentioned to you, so you can't really walk anywhere for shopping/a drink/dinner. Just not a great location for tourists.

Hey, Thanks Sf7307. Glad to see you're still watching out for me :)
