Casa Casaurina in South beach

Has anyone on this site dined here? Was thinking of having dinner here one night, but haven't read any reviews. TIA!

That's Versace's Palazzo isn't it. I thought it was a private club. Can your concierge get you in? I'd love to see the interior.

hi Honoria- we are actually staying there for my DH's birthday! They opened up several rooms through Leading Hotels of the World. I was under the impression that the restaurant was open to the public. I'll call and see if that's the case and report back. I'm really excited about staying there- it looks very over the top!

Honoria-- I just called and it is open to the public, but reservations must be made ahead of time and then require a credit card auth. -- they check to make sure your cc is authorized for 150 per person.

emcash, how exciting to be staying at Casa Casaurina! I'd love to hear how it goes, especially if you end up dining there. I'm headed to South Beach in early April.

I will happily provide a report post trip- thanks for your well wishes!

I'm looking forward to hearing your review of the Palazzo and the restaurant. The people watching in the hotel should be a lot of fun. HG
