Carnival Stealing Fodorites Ideas?

Remember that post "What Is So Great About A Cruise?" that was started about a month ago? I recently saw a new Carnival commercial which mentioned many of the benefits, in much the same language, that we mentioned in that thread. Coincidence or a lazy copywriter?

Don't tell me I have too much time on my hands; I know that already.

Maybe it's just a case of "great minds think alike" A month would be an awfully short time for an entire ad campaign to be designed and implemented.

Just, are you sure it did not work the other way around? No, I'm not blaming anybody :) Just the same problem: too much time on my hands.

It's possible. Travel writers lurk here or post here all the time and steal our ideas.

Carnival reps have been discussing this topic with agencies for years. While it may look like Fodorites started this topic, they really didn't. It's just been making the rounds for years.

There aren't many good things to say about cruises, so it is logical that they came up with the same things the readers did.

Lisa-You would know this how??? Sounds to me like you either work for Carnival or are a travel agent!! Shoo!
