Carmel Lodging

Does anyone perhaps know of a house or cottage to rent in Carmel for the weekend of April 27th and 28th, that would accomodate 3-4 couples? I have been unlucky finding something since we are only going to be there for 2 nights. Thanks

You would need to rent a cottage owned by inns. It is illegal to rent private homes for weekends in Carmel. We have a month minimum rental law. You may want to check out La Playa or Fireplace Inn.

Hey, Tess--is this true for all of Carmel. Because I know people who rent just for the AT&T week and we rent for 3 weeks on the Point.

Yes, SAB, it is. It happens all over the peninsula but it's not supposed to...you know how that goes.

You maight want to check BRATTY-BLUM REAL ESTATE on Lighthouse in Pacific Grove. They handle rental properties in PG. They may have what you need and it is a short shot to Carmel....plus, PG is a great little town to visit anyway. Most of the coastline on Monterey Peninsula is Pacific Grove....www.pacificgrove.org.
