CARMEL IN LATE APRIL

I was thinking about spending the weekend after Easter, which would be the last weekend in April, in Carmel. Is this a good time of the year to go there? What kind of weather and crowds should I expect? any suggestions for reasonably priced hotels in the area?

The weather shoud be nice. Clear--not too warm. a glorious time to visit. IN terms of reasonably priced hotels--you might check biddingfortravel.com--it ssems the monterey hyatt regency is offering very cheap rates on priceline

I agree with tom - the weather should be nice that time of year. The storms are usually gone by the end of March and the really foggy days don't generally start until June. So you should have nice weather. Bring layers of clothing though since it may be foggy in the mornings and the evennings and will probably be windy on the coast.

There are usually 1 week of showers in April. I work outdoors and go thru it every year in april, from Monterey Peninsula
