Carmel area dining suggestions request

I am going to drive down to Carmel this weekend and would like to get suggestions on some of the current highly recommended spots to eat for lunch that serve fresh fish. Also, are there any websites for restaurant reviews that cover that area? Thank you

Denise,

Try Flaherty's in downtown Carmel. Don't remember what street it's on ... but it's a cute little seafood place with a great oyster bar!

Casanova is outstanding.

Grasings usually has a couple seafood entrees on the menu. Also, the Fishwife if you want to drive into Pacific Grove is a favorite of the locals.

Rio Grill in the Carmel Crossroads shopping center has an unassuming location, but fab food and a nice atmosphere inside. The Fishwife is vastly overrated; when I lived in Monterey, we frequented Sea Harvest on Lighthouse for the freshest fish (no atmosphere to apeak of, though). If you want to blow it out, Roy's at Pebble Beach is gorgeous and serves the best everything.

I would have to say I "second" Casanovas- a must when in Carmel!
