Car rentals at KOA and HNL -- Thrifty or Dollar?
My husband and I want to rent a Jeep Wrangler for our Hawaii trip in August. The two car companies we found that rent Wranglers are Dollar and Thrifty. We'll need it on both the Big Island and on Oahu. Has anyone had experience with either company at either airport? Any preference in general? (I usually love Enterprise but they don't have Jeeps OR a KOA airport rental location.)

I pick by who has the best rate and doesn't charge for the additional driver. Go to www.rentalcodes.com and plug them into either company. See what you come up with. I did great with Budget but that was last fall for this summer. Also consider Priceline.
