Car Rental in Kauai
 

We're off to Kauai in June and are booking a rental car. I can't seem to find rentalcodes.com for cheaper rates. Any help?

What size car and for how long?

We used Priceline for the first time on our '04/05 trip to Kauai.

The only prob we had was we were staying 21 days and had to break up the rental period due to availability. New Years Eve-ish is a busy time.

Rented the 1st one for a week from one agency and 14 from another.

The first week was approx. $23/ day,
12-29 thru 1-5, a new Chevy Malibu and then 14 days for the remainder at under $20/ day and we got a Pontiac Trans Am that had about 15,000 on it.

Not familiar w/ rentalcodes.com but will look at it now. :-?

We just returned from Kauai. We rented a car at Alamo,through Costco. The price was $477.00, for 29 days. It was a compact car. We were allowed two drivers at no extra charge. I must say though we went during low season and I am sure that is why we got it so cheaply.

Rentalcodes has bitten the dust.

We are going to Kaua`i in July. We like convertibles and I used sidestep to locate a great rate of around $190 a week at Thrifty for a Sebring. Now the lowest rate that I can find is around $300 a week.
