Car Rental Denver Airport

Advantage Car Rental has the cheapest price for a car rental at the Denver Airport. Has anyone used Advantage and if so what was your experience?

We travel to DEN regularly and have always used Hertz until this past Christmas. All the major companies wanted between $2000-$4000 for a 2 week rental of an SUV.

I found a discount on the Advantage website that came up to $875 for the two weeks. I was worried all the time that they would not honor it etc. cause they don't require a credit card or anything to book.

We arrived 12 hours late due to a missed connection and were given a brand new SUV with 4 miles on it at the rate we booked. The return of the car was not as organized as the other companies, but for the price difference, I'll wait in line a few extra minutes. Just make sure you return early.

We are going for our Easter break and have rented with them once again as they were $1000 cheaper this time as well with no discounts at all.

I don't know how they can rent their cars so much cheaper than the others, but I'd take advantage of them! Pun definitely intended.

Thank you maadimom - I was concerned because it was so much cheaper and I was reluctant to try them. You have eased my mind. Like you I don't mind waiting in line to save that kind of money. Thanks again for answering.

If you priceline a car at denver airport, it will likely end up with national / alamo, which is a large lot with good service too.

I'd bet you could priceline a better deal than the advertised price with advantage and end up with better service AND more $$ in your pocket.

blocker: I live in a suburb of Denver and have used Advantage half a dozen times. I have rented from them for both vacation trips and when my cars have been in the shop for an extended period. Great prices, good cars, and great customer service. Since they have to shuttle their cars from the airport, my car wasn't ready when I reserved it on a few occasions. However, each time that happened, they gave me a discount or a free upgrade.

Thank you Elkhound - as a Denver resident who have used Advantage several times, your input is much appreciated. Thanks to all for your response.
