Car Rental

Has anyone had any experience with Dollar Rent a Car in Denver? Their prices are considerably cheaper than the other companies. Has anyone ever rented from them? Problems? I would appreciate any info you can provide. Thank You!

Dollar and Thrifty are both owned by Hertz.
The one car that I rented from Thrifty had less than 1K miles on it when I picked it up in Las Vegas. Dollar and Thrifty usually have very similar rates.
If you like the price, book it and then check back later to see if you can get an even better price by bidding on Priceline.

I booked it. We have free cancellation so at least I know I have a confirmed car for the time we are there. Just have a hard time believing that they charge sooo much less than the other companies. It makes me suspicious. I have never bid on Priceline but will definitely check it out. Thx.

FYI - If you BID a car rental on Priceline and the bid is accepted, you pay in full immediately and there are no refunds.

One agency may be half the price of another. Check back a couple weeks later and it could be the opposite. You can't figure it out.
