car hire at Los Angeles aiport

Flying into Los Angeles Intl airport from europe in November. Need to hire a economy car for a couple of weeks. Can somebody give me information on the mandatory and optional insurances/state taxes etc in California and the costs involved? Car hire websites do not seem to give these specific details and i dont want to get stung for unexpected charges.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks Andy

I'm unfamiliar with this company, but I did an Internet search for you and found the website below.
They are located at LAX and their prices include everything; and the prices seem to be good.

http://www.online-carrental.com/all_inclusive_rates.htm

Here's a website from Virgin Holidays in the UK which might explain it best for you:

http://www.virginholidays.co.uk/cali...a/charges.html

You will be paying by credit card.
Make sure you know exactly what YOUR credit card covers you automatically for when renting a car in the USA.

Good luck and have a wonderful visit in California!
Most of the car rental companies list all of their insurances/charges/specifications on their websites.

www.nationalcar.com
www.avis.com
www.hertz.com
www.goalamo.com
www.budget.com
