Car Buff road trip through GA

Cool places for car buff to check out in GA? Haven't spent any time in GA before other than passing through.

There are some great scenic (and curvy) roads in N GA. One idea would be to take the old Dixie Highway - the pre-interstate highway system route through GA for folks going to Florida. What kind of driving do you want?

Check out the schedule for Atlanta Speedway. Also, there is another racetrack just north of Atlanta, which I believe has (or had) an Audi or BMW driving school where you drive on the track after some quick training. Perhaps another Georgian will recognize what I'm talking about, and give you better info.

I'm just curious. Is a "car buff road trip" the same as a "car trip in the buff"?

That would be Road Atlanta outside of Gainesville GA.

Yes, various clubs may run at Road Atlanta, but there's also the Panoz School who reside there.

Another track in GA is Roebling Road near Savannah. Very popular with various clubs.
