cape may/wildwood

Does anyone know of realtors who handle oceanfront house rentals? We've rented in the Outer Banks and that was very easy but we are having a hard time with the Jersey shore. Also, what town is best with kids? Thanks

If "kids" means 11-21 years, then I think Wildwood would be more where they would like to be ... with the boardwalk, rides and all. If younger kids, then Cape May should be good. Take them up the lighthouse, if it's still open. I would do a search on rentals, sorry I don't know of any.

It depends what you like. Personally, I am a fan of quaint--so, Cape May if the kids are young...if they are older, I highly suggest Ocean City (a little north). Some people like Wildwood, but I am not a fan of it.

I know that Century 21 and Diller & FIsher are big rental agencies in the area (we're in Stone Harbor - 9 miles n. of Cape May). BTW, Stone Harbor and Avalon are both more quiet beach towns (without wild boardwalks) but both have lovely beaches and lots of different playgrounds, mini-golf and an arcade in town...hope this helps.

With kids, I vote for Ocean City. Because it is "dry", it doesn't attract a rowdy, yound-adult crowd. I like its boardwalk, too.
