Cape May B & B's

Does anyone have any firsthand experience with any B and B's in Cape May? I know of the popular one, "Angel of the Sea" but they are booked way in advance. My husband and I wanted to go in Sept. They have nothing available for the time frame. There are so many. Thanks.

Angel by the Sea is beautiful we have stayed there. And we have also stayed at the Mainstay Inn, it is beautiful and a little closer to the shops and restaurants. Very easy to get around from. It is a quaint inn with a beautiful porch and wonderful breakfast and afternoon tea - I believe they have a website, check it out.

Try the Fairthorne. It's not victorian per se but has great rooms, terrific ambiance and great breakfasts.

I thank you both for your replies. I have checked both establishments and nothing is available for the second week-end in Sept. (This proves they must be good.) I am thinking of a place which is a guest house, called Stockton Inn. It is located on the Ocean, which is a plus. They seem to have rooms. Thanks again.
