cape cod towns

I know this has been posted before, but I can't find the info I need....

We were given a week in a timeshare as a wedding gift, and the towns to choose from in Cape Cod are:

Falmouth
Brewster
Mashpee
Hyannis
Dennis Port
Yarmouth (West and South)
Provincetown

We'd like to be somewhere where the water will be warmer, and rather be in a less commercial, more quaint town (although I realize this is difficult with our limitations.)

We plan to go sometime after the wedding this summer (wedding is June 10.)
Thanks!
Katie

My personal choice would be Falmouth, there are some very nice dining options there. Old Silver Beach is supposed to be one of the warmest on the Cape. Additionally, since Falmouth is at the start of the Cape you avoid quite a bit of the terrible summer traffic. You can also catch a ferry to Martha's Vineyard in Falmouth.

I think you would like Brewster or Dennis. Not overly commercial (like Provincetown or Yarmouth), and very centrally located. We stay in Dennis and love the central location.

Also, the waters are warmer on Cape Cod Bay than on the national seashore. But you should definitely see the national seashore - the dunes are amazing.

My choice would be Dennisport. The water on the South coast of the Cape (Nantucket Sound) is warmer than the Bay and Atlantic sides.

Dennisport is centrally located so you can easily visit other towns and sites from here.

What time share? That would make a difference to me. That being said I would pick Falmouth for location. (Beaches and an easy trip to Martha's Vineyard). When are you using it? In June? The water is still pretty chilly at that time.

The timeshare is Interval International. There are several timeshares in Falmouth, so maybe I'll look there.

We will probably go sometime between July and August - although my fiance thinks we HAVE to go the week after the wedding. I'm still working on that...
