Cape Cod, MA (Upper Cape)
 

Hello: Thinking of visiting the upper Cape in August while making my way to Lower Maine coast possibly spending two or three days there mid week depending on weather and crowds Thinking of touring between Sandwich and Falmouth with a day trip to M.V.. Not sure where to choose lodging. Is north south routes on the upper Cape busy and or difficult? Any tips / advice would be appreciated. Have a great summer!

The problems with traffic are the bridges going over to the Cape. Good idea to avoid weekends, holidays.

The Falmouth Road Race is August. https://falmouthroadrace.com/ Huge event with elite runners. There will be lots of traffic all weekend.
