Cape Cod Inns

Has anyone stayed at the Captains House Inn in Chatham?

There are plenty of reviews on TripAdvisor. You might also want to consider Chatham Tides, the Bradford Inn, and peruse other TripAdvisor reviews.

We stayed there when it was under different management. Very lovely but a bit stuffy for our taste. Actually if you think you might like the Captain's House you might consider Fort Hill Bed and Breakfast in Eastham. The accommodations are top notch, innkeepers are warm and friendly without being intrusive and the walks on Fort Hill are magnificent. Not to mention the wonderful breakfast!

Jenskar, if you see this post, we had friends stay last year, and we also went to the open house they had over the Xmas Holidays. It is a delightful place. The couple are most gracious, and did not appear to be stuffy at all. The other Inn in Chatham I have had experience with is the Moses Nickerson House- just down the road from The Captains. It to is lovely, a delightful couple who own the inn, and the rooms, public rooms, and food delectable!

Thank you both (here and on that other forum ;)
We've booked both Captain's Inn and Fort Hill -- both innkeepers sound very nice over the phone so we are really looking forward to this.
