Cape Cod-Accomodations

Greetings from Canada...We would like to visit Cape Cod this summer in August 2002 and are looking forward to receiving some suggestions on which beach to stay ( 6 AND 2.5 YEAR OLD) and which place to stay for lodging....We had some referrals and to our dismay the places are already booked!!!!!!!!!
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Orleans area is centrally located and near some very beautiful beaches. We used to spend summers there when I was a kid.

Check oy Capcod.com for rentals if your looking for a cottage or house. Harwich is on the warmer side of the Cape so you may be intersted in that area with kids.
If you are looking for Hotels or Motels you may also find them on the Cape Cod web site

Hi, We have taken a family vacation to Chatham for the past 18 years. Chatham has a wonderful main street, browsing the stores in the evening, ice cream cones, penny?candy store. Great beaches including the "outer beaches". Since your children are little, you might want to stay on the bay side, water is calmer and a little warmer. We have only rented houses. There are several realtors in Chatham that I am sure could be of help. Better hurry though, time is getting close good luck!

How about the Red Jacket Beach Resort in South Yarmouth. They are right on the beach and have all sorts of activities for children and many different kinds of accomodations. I know this much. You will not be disappointed with what they have to offer.
