cap cod falmouth or hyannis??
 

My husband and I , will be in Cap Cod for 2 days in October> Any suggestions? holiday inn falmouth or courtyard by marriot hyannis? we want to travel the hole cap cod. But which hotel to stay in? which is the best area ?? if you can suggest some places to go???

Of the two places mentioned, Hyannis will be more centrally located than Falmouth. However, Falmouth is a nicer area to be in.

If you really want to be "central" in Cape Cod, I'd suggest Chatham, Brewster, or Orleans. Chatham's the nicest and most interesting of these three towns.

Well, Hyannis is more centrally located, and the Courtyard is very centrally located in Hyannis (right next to Trader Joe's!). So if you are looking for a base for touring, Hyannis is the better choice in my opinion.

Be aware that neither place is picturesque in itself, to put it mildly. Hyannis and Yarmouth are both sort of 1950's beachy. The scenic parts of the Cape are on Rte 6A betweeen Sandwich and Brewster, on the back roads south of Bourne, and in the Chatham-Provincetown outer Cape area.

In Hyannis, I would recommend Cooke's Seafood on Iyanough Road (Exit 6 off US 6, same as the Courtyard) or Baxters if you want to sit by the water. There is an Indian restaurant on Main, going outbound (it is a one way street) on your left and a Brazilian churrascaria (sp?) if your husband is a hunk o' meat kind of guy.

Oops, I didn't notice that you are Brazilian.

There are lots, lots of Brazilians in Hyannis, and several Brazilian grocery stores. The restaurant I mentioned is a place where Brazilian families celebrate birthdays, but I don't know if this is because the food is good or because it is the only Brazilian restaurant! :-)

There are lots of Portugese language radio stations in southeastern Massachusetts, mostly centered in New Bedford. You will find them on the AM band on your car radio. I used to listen when I was trying to learn Portugese, but it is a very difficult language for English speakers, though I could read it okay.
