Canyon Ranch cardiovascular risk program

Have any of you ever travelled to Canyon Ranch for their cardiovascular risk reduction program- the one for people who have had a heart attack or are at high risk? Any feedback on the facility and the program? I am looking for a very serious cardiovascular risk reduction/lifestyle modification week away from where I live (D.C. area) and this is one that keeps coming up in the research. Thanks in advance.

I'm going to try to send this up again, in case anyone is out there.

I wish I could help, emd. Have you asked your cardiologist for a recommendation? Good luck!

Thanks, seetheworld. The cardiologist gave me several possibilities (5) and this is just one of them. But the cardiologist hasn't been to ANY of the programs. I was hoping for firsthand info on this one in particular because it looks good to me. But it is tres expensive and I need to know what the program is like from someone who has gone there. I want something serious where staff will meet me head on where I am at and help me some up w/an eating and exercise prevention program I can follow when I get home to get my risk factors down, hopefully for the rest of my life.
Has anyone been to ANY out of town cardiovascular risk prevention program, where you've had a week to 2 wks. to be away and focus on this?
