Canoe House Restaurant on BI
 

Has anyone been to the Canoe House at the Mauna Lana Resort on the Big Island? We made reservations there based off of a friend's recommendation. I wanted to get feedback from anyone who has eaten there? Also, any good suggestions on where to sit?

I hated it. But then, I find dining on most islands to be rather bad, so it's not like there are better choices.

we liked it very much- beautiful setting right on the beach. we literally sat on the sand. not very large portions tho- my husband may still have been a little hungry when we left

We have been to the BI twice and both times the Canoe House was our favorite place to eat.

Thank you for all of your replies. We made a reservationf or 6 at the Canoe House and are anticipating our visit.
