Can you recomment Top hotel w/great pool

We're going to Vegas for business in May. We're looking for a nice hotel with a great pool so that we'll really feel like we're on vacation & not there for business. I heard Caesar's is nice. Any recommendations??

If a great pool is what you want, I would try either The Bellagio, or Mandalay Bay. The Mandalay bay has a wave pool, and the pool area has nice plantings & trees and is off limits to the genral public ( better for sunning privacy). The public spaces are beautiful, spacious and airy. There are High - Tech designed restaurants and lounges ( 1 bar has a waterfall with flames behind the water!)
The casino part is very large, & spaciousso you don't feel packed in.
The only negative is that it is the most Southern Hotel on The Strip ( but with a free tram going to The Luxor, it's not that big of a deal. If yo want to be in the middle of the strip, then the Bellagio is your choice, with it being the nicest overall gaming hotel in Vegas. ( The Venetian has the largest rooms; with a sunken living room it is larger than most 1 bedroom apts in Manhattan!) But I think overall, the Bellagios execution of the entire facility qualifies it as THE BEST.
Oh, by the way, if you don't need to be directly in Vegas, Hyatt opened a Brand spanking new resort Hotel in the new, upscale community of Summerlin, which I think is about 45 mins away. There is also a Regent hotel there also.
As for Caesar's it still reminds me of a casino from the '50's.........The interiors are dark and gaudy...The only thing I like about it is the Shops at The Forum shopping center.

Anthony's post is right on the money.
The most exclusive/relaxing/elegant pool is at Bellagio.
Mandalay's is large, has a bit of a sand beach, wave pool, water flume, etc. Attracts quite a few kids, but is restricted to guests (as is Bellagio's).
Caesar's pools are nice, also, but the hotel doesn't compare to Bellagio, and MB is better as well.
Mirage, by the way, has nice pools and is a very good hotel in an excellent location as well.

I totally agree with the above posts re: Bellagio. Stayed there spring '99 and LOVED it. The pool and pool area is GORGEOUS. And VERY clean. Never stayed at Mirage, but the pool looks nice there also---seemed more kid-oriented than Bellagio's pool, but still very nice. Supposedly, Flamingo Hilton has remodeled its whole pool area, but haven't been there so don't know. GO Bellagio.

My wife and I are almost non-gamblers.. but like vegas so much that we go 3-4 times a year. For the money, Flamingo Hilton is pretty darn good...pool area rivals the best anywhere imo.. good cocktail service and very tropical without the humidiity....misters at the pool even help cool things down a bit...i have gotten deals anywhere from $15 a night (admittedly in December) to $99 for 4th of july or labor day weekend. Best time for us was Cinco de Mayo at $39-$49...that is per room not per person. Location is central, did not take the car out except to cruise the strip with the top down. Only bas thing is the flamingo kind of lacks good restaurants but you can just walk a little ways to remedy that. One note, I did get kind of a loser room one time (although it looked out on to the strip the furnishings were tired looking) but i simply went down to the desk and asked for another. Got one with a view of Bally's, Paris and the Bellagio fountains. Killer fun!!! give me my cooler, sun tan lotion and a little gambling money and i will people watch and party for a week!
i have gone on much too long...
have fun! and buena suerte!

I am with the above posters. Belagio has such a feel of elegance and a feeling of being "on vacation" that nothing rivals it. They only allow kids who are staying there on the property. I would not feel comfortable with my 5 year old there. Really quiet. You find me over at the MGM with ALL THE KIDS screaming by the pool. Sounds like a good time.
While I agree with the above posts that Bellagio is a great hotel, I disagree with the negative comments about Caesar's. The hotel in general and the pool area in particular is one of my favorites in Vegas. Also, very good casino - yes, it is somehat dark compared to the recent trend of bright casinos. In my opinion, though, that's a plus. It gives the casino a more sophisticated, sexy atmosphere. Also, there are a few different lounges with live music throughout the casino.
If you go, you should get a room in the Palace Tower - very nice and spacious, great marble bathrooms, some with jacuzzis.
