For some weird reason, I can't go to forums. Got here from "destinations", clicked on a random thread, then on the US.

Nothing is new at work computer program-wise, and I am not banned - can log in and see my profile. I don't know if anybody can help me, if yes, probably I will not be able to read this. So weird!

I'm having the same trouble. I normally use Opera but just can't access Fodor's with it at the moment, all I get is the heading, but no threads :(. So I am having to use IE grrr.

I was having the same issues last night (twice) and this morning too. I think fodors was having issues. i notice that sometimes then it will come back on...

I had the problem most of the day yesterday, but not today.

Hi Faina, Katie started her thread today..it is in the Lounge. It is not your computer, it is some glitch at Fodor's and they are working on it.

And I thought it was me! I've been so lonely! :((

This evening Fodors works in Opera and not In IE. Ah well, as long as it works somewhere!

I can read it using firefox, with IE, nothing loads.

Oh...I get the ad, but that's all. Firefox blocks ads. Could the ads be the problem?

Goddess, I thin both. Addiction is not an easy thing to beat :))

We don't believe it is ad-related. Has anyone tried deleting their Fodor's cookie---Orlando_Vic said that this solved the problem for him.

I couldn't access the threads for hours this morning. I could access the Fodor's website and the TALK, but when clicking on any of the boards the threads did not load on the left side of the screen. I did see the advertisemenets however.

I haven't deleted my cookies..but suddenly about 45 minutes ago the threads showed up.

Goddess, if you have IE..up on the top left hand side of your screen click on Tools. Then click on Internet Options. Then click on Delete under Browsing History. DO make sure you know your password for Fodor's before doing this however, as you will have to log back on to Fodor.

I delete the cookies once a year before Passover :))

Using a pc / ie and a mac / safari -- I had the same problem off and on for about 36 hours. Seems to be fine today. Don't think it was a cookies thing since one time I got the dreaded server not available message and four other times had had been logged off.

From outside looking in it was like when a site is being tweaked or a new ad is loaded and the system goes up, up-ish, down - then OK for a while then suddenly - down again. And when you try to get back on - you need to log on again.

OK, I deleted cookies. I've never done this before! @-) Oh, lordy, now what will happen!
