Can Puppy Namers Name Houses Too?

I just read the 'name my puppy' thread. We have been looking for a name for our lake house where we live full-time. This name search has been a five year project so far! My choice is 'Nothing But Time' - when people ask me if I can do something for them I usually say okay because 'I have nothing but time'. We retired early and enjoy the trade off of freedom vs lots of money! So that should be the drift of the name. Is there a song on Jimmy Buffet's Christmas CD that has a line in Hawaiian about 'no work today'? Is there a Hawaiian word to convey the nothing but time / no work today idea??
Hope to get some ideas!
Cheers,
Lin

not Hawaiian but Italian: Dolce Far Niente.
"so sweet to do nothing".

Living in Florida where people name their beach houses, I've seen more than several "Hakuna Matata"s and two "Mildew Manor"s.

I have a book for that too. We just moved and it may be at the old place still. I'll look it up.

Here everyone says - Pau Hana - which means finished/done work.

Ala Hikiwale - Easy Street

Hale Mohalu - House of relaxation

Ho' oka au' ana - Time spent pleasantly

Ho'o nanea - To pass the time in ease, peace, and pleasure

Kaulana - Place of rest and quiet

I got more, but Pau Hana is a very familar term.

Spanish and Latinos are now more likely to kinda street slang 'Pura Vida' (pure life) than 'La Vida es Hermosa'

The Hawaiian word for house is 'hale'. The Hawaiian word for leisure is 'nanea'.
The Hawaiian word for lake is 'lolowai', the w being pronounced as a v. Maybe you could play around with those.

LOL.....sorry. Made a typo on the last post. The Hawaiian word for lake is LOKOWAI. Not lolowai. Lolo means stupid!!!!! Oh well.....it's Monday.

It's not Hawaiian but if you'd like a little flavor of Mexico, how about "Mi Casa de Manana" (My house of tomorrow)
