Can I join a hiking tour in upstate New York/CT

I am keen to take a short trip to NY in September, but instead of the usual shopping/seeing friends in NYC I wanted to go away from the city eg Adirondaks/Catskills/Finger Lakes, and experience some of the outdoors.
Im not that keen on the idea of camping but not sure if there are any inn-to-inn walking trips, or groups one can join? I'd like to go for about 3-4 days walking and am relatively fit, eg could do about 20km/day.

Any info gratefully received!

look at REI.com website and click on their traveling ey section. They do offer some inn to inn, hut to hut, and camping trips. 3-4 days would be one of their shorter trips, but they do offer several.

look at the NY NJ Trail conference website

http://www.nynjtc.org/

They run lots of organized hikes.

Look at the website for the Appalachian Mountain Club. They do have hiking from hut-to-hut but it is in New Hampshire. However, they have New York and Connecticut chapters that own properties and sponsor weekend hikes.
