Not only can you do all you listed but a lot more in three days.
Central Park - you can walk from one end of Central Park to the other (59th St. to 110th Street) in under two hours at a relatively slow space. Distance in actual miles is about 2 1/2 miles. Much of what you would walk is from 59th to 80th Street or thereabouts - figure two to three hours wth stops.
Empire State Building - two hours or so and that includes waiting.
Grand Central Station - just a walk through unless you stop to eat. Without eating figure one hour and that is stretching it.
FOA - an hour or so, maybe two if you stretch it. The last I went there with a visiting friend was in the store around 45 minutes.
St Patrick's - probably an hour possibly less unless you attend a service.
Lion King - take out one evening. Show begins at 8 pm.
World Trade Center - same as Empire State but could be faster since waiting times might be less. This is for observation deck. Add another hour or two if you want to look around and visit the World Financial center across the street.
Frankly, I would skip the double decker bus. You could visit most of the more popular stops on your own and, to my mind, it is overpriced - last I looked it was about $38 for a two day pass. One of the major tour operators just went out of business and there is only one other major oporating. Haven't checked lately but wouldn't be surprised if price has gone up since there is no competition. I assume you want to visit Macy's to shop - two to three hours but I am certain the kids would become bored
To visit the places you listed you can organize your days as follows. Day 1:
Central Park, St Patricks, FOA, 5th Avenue in the morning. Empire State, Grand Central, Macy's' in afternoon.
Day 2 - World Trade Center and throw in the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island and you might even have time for a ferry ride to Staten Island. That gives you day 3 for anything else that interests you. If you inodicate where you will be staying information can be provided on how to get there as well as the route to follow to maximize sigihtseeing time.
