Could you be a little more vague?

Seriously I doubt you will get much useful information with such a generic request.

nytraveler Dec 29th, 2014 04:46 AM

We are not mind readers - please provide additional details:

Who/how many in the family?

Interests of these people?

When and for how long vacation would be?

Budget - very limited? The sky's the limit?

There are innumerable choices and without responses to above you can't get any sort of useful response.

OK, I will just throw out some of my favorite destinations:

Charleston, Savannah, Boston, Chicago, Florida keys, Smoky mountains, New Orleans, Most anywhere on the gulf coast of Florida, the Rocky Mountains.

I'm guessing OP means January 2015 not 2014.

What do you and the members of your family like to do?

Do you want a cold or warm weather destination?

Do you want a city or more rural destination?

Any major city will have places of interest - the thing is you have to tell us what kind of things/activities INTEREST YOU.

Really, help us help you - give us more info rather than being so vague.

You tagged California, does that mean you want a CA destination? Do you want snow or beaches? Do you want to change locations since you have 2-3 weeks?

nytraveler Dec 30th, 2014 09:25 AM

Agree on queries:

In Jan do you want winter sports? Beaches in HI? Moderate temp touring.

Are you 20 or 30 or 40 - and ages of parents?

What do you want to do? Fine dining? Architecture? Museums? History? Culture (ballet, opera, theater)? Clog dancing? Sky diving?

Give us a clue!

Surfergirl Dec 30th, 2014 10:29 AM

@nytraveler . . . Clog Dancing?!

>pleae suggest some interesting place<

Without knowing what YOUR interests are, we are likely to make suggestions based on OUR personal interests, which you may or may not like........

If you give more information on what interests your party, what your ages are, whether you want an active outdoorsy vacation or a big city vacation, we can tailor suggestions to your likes and interests.

nytraveler Dec 30th, 2014 03:32 PM

A lot of new posters seem to think you know everything about them by osmosis. Sometimes putting in unusual activities will generate some sort of useful response.

starrs Dec 30th, 2014 04:17 PM

Clog dancing?
Go to Jonesville, VA.

Company paying for a 3-4 weeks vacation for 4? Where do I sign up? :)

Ok, so you have 3-4 weeks, all adults in your group. You want to come to California. You are visiting in January.

With that amount of time, I would do a relaxed road trip. Maybe fly into SF, spend 4 or 5 days there, then get a car and go from there. Since you have the time, you don't have to rush and can spend multiple nights various places. WHERE you go does depend on your interests. It will be January, so weather is a factor. If you like snow, then definitely head up to the mountains - Yosemite, Lake Tahoe, etc. If you don't like snow, then stick to the coast and the desert. Rain is likely on the coast, the farther north you go, the more likely it is.

A classic trip would be: San Francisco, Napa and/or Sonoma, Yosemite, Monterey/Carmel, Big Sur Coast, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, San Diego, LA. With 4 weeks, you could definitely do that without being rushed.

Yes, I can help you to find out the best travel destination which will be your lifetime experience. I think New York is the best place to spend your next holidays with your family. There are so many tourist attraction which you should visit - Statue of Liberty, famous Times Square, central park and many more. I am sure you will enjoy memorable holidays in New York. In this new year, you can get more new year holiday package. So, enjoy your holidays fully.
