Camping spots in Sedona close to the Y

Anyone know of a good one with good/clean shower facilities and close enough to the town?

No, I haven't. we have always stayed in B&Bs (wife isn't a camping type). I just have a lot of links for various things around Arizona. I wish I could help with a specific recommendation.

I haven't camped in Sedona, but if you really want a good campground recommendation, then try over on RV.net. Ask under Campgrounds, Resorts & Attractions.

Thanks. We really love camping and since we are thinking about bringing our camping gear instead of renting for monument valley (we figure it's just another luggage bag and we can just stick it at the back of the car an dnot really have to lug around too much), we thought it may be nice to stay at the hilton on the first day and camp the second in Sedona. Will look through the links. Many thanks!

Well if you could do without showers for one night, then I'd suggest camping at Canyon de Chelly. Campground is FREE, lots of cottonwood trees and has flush bathrooms but no showers.

There are showers at the Wahweap Campground at Lake Powell.

When you get back you'll have to tell me about the campground you find in Sedona!
