Campgrounds in central MN -remote, not alot of people

Hi there!

We are trying to find a place to camp in MN that is not crowded. We would like to be deep in the woods with not alot of other campers around. Any suggestions?

Thank you!!

Try http://www.exploreminnesota.com/ . Lots of information there.

I have camped in the Boundry Waters Canoe Area national park twice. It is in northwestern MN. It is a vast wilderness of forrests and lakes. There are almost no roads and you might not see another camper for many days.

BWCA is in Northeastern Mn not NW MN. Jor is correct that you could go days without seeing anyone while camping there - it is a big area.

BWCA is extremely remote and I've gone days without seeing anyone. The only company you'll have will be the state bird of Minnesota: the mosquito.
