Cameras at Arizona Memorial?

Do they allow pictures to be taken at the Arizona Memorial?

Yes, we took tons of pix there, but that was 5 years ago.

We also have tons of pics from 3 years ago. They just wouldn't let us take in a camera bag, purse, etc. Anything that something could be consealed inside. Also no cell phones.

In the parking lot they had a monitored storage facility that will hold your things for a fee.

With all due respect, I'll be leaving my digcam on the beach when I visit for the first time next January.

Yes they do but obviously be discreet and aware of others. We were rudely pushed aside by someone wanting a shot, was tempted to help him into the water for a moment :)

Have a couple at www.pspercy.com

Don't be put off by the long lines when you get there at 0800, it moves very quickly, it's a well run operation and well worth the wait. The memorial itself is simple but moving.
