Camelback Inn Marriott Resort, Scottsdale, AZ

Has anyone stayed at the Camelback Inn Marriott Resort in Scottsdale, AZ? We have a reservation for October 11-14. What will the weather be like? Is there a spa on the property? Should I make reservations now for spa services? Thanks for your help.

Just got back from a 5 night stay a few days ago. Had a great time. Enjoyed the spa package. Check out their web site for rates www.camelbackinn.com. Spa services were fantastic. Yes, you should book services in advance as things get booked up quickly. Very pretty grounds. Enjoy!

Be aware that Camelback has a range of accommodations, and your satisfaction might depend on which type you get -- room, villa, two-story, etc.

I've been there three times on business, and the worst rooms are in the 2-story sections. If you're in the bottom room, you can hear the people upstairs walking around, going to the bathroom, etc. The other types of accommodations are quite nice, however, as is Camelback overall.

Natalie- Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, when I typed in the web address for the Camelback Inn, I got a message that the page could not be open. I wonder if there is another website, perhaps through the Marriott?
Thanks. Catalina

Catalina, that's so strange as I just tried the web page and it is not working for me either. But that is the correct address, maybe the hotel is updating the sight. It includes different types of packages and prices for a la cart spa services. Maybe call the hotel direct and ask them about the sight?

Weather should be in the upper 80's, lower 90's, cooling off about 30 degrees at night. Is usually dry, but one of the biggest storms ever in the area was in October.

Jim- Thanks for the tip. We are getting a government rate, so I wonder if they will try to put us in the least desirable room. I will ask for the second floor if the room they offer is in the 2 story building. Catalina
