Camden restaurants

I have searched this site for retaurant suggestions for Camden and come up with The Village, Frogwater Cafe, Waterfront Cafe, and Cappy's. Does anyone have other places not to be missed? Thanks!

I always go to www.chowhound.com and post questions for people's choices from experiences. I haven't been steered wrong yet. Try it. We've eaten at Cappy's for lunch and it was delicious chowder, sandwiches, and pasta entrees . Enjoy!

Head up the road a few miles and eat at the Whale's Tooth Pub on Lincolnville Beach. You won't be disappointed. We live here and love it. (That's where the locals go!) Have a great trip!

Ever had fried maine shrimp? They're tiny but scrumptious. Had some of the best ever at "Village Restaurant" right in downtown Camden, overlooking the water.

For some reason I ordered them with Mashed potatoes instead of fries, and have loved the combination ever since. Great homemade lunches. This was a few years back, hope it's still good!
