Cambridge on Sundays

We will be visiting Cambridge on Sunday, April 5. What is open around Harvard Square and at Harvard University on Sundays?

Almost everything.

Most everything will be open on Sundays, although they may close earlier at night and their will not be as much activity at the bars and restaurants as there is on Friday and Sat. Most Harvard University museums will be open some part of Sunday.

Anything particular you are looking for?

We often go into Harvard Square on Sundays and it is usually very lively and full of people of all ages.

Look at the University website for particulars, but if you just want to stroll on the campus, that is open to anyone. The library, however, is not. Since the era of tightened security, one must have a Harvard ID of some sort, student or faculty, to be able to enter Widener Library.

Thanks. We'll be mostly strolling. I have a self-guided walking tour, but we wanted to shop for a minute at the bookstore. I found on the Harvard Bookstore site that it is open.
