Roosterlady,<BR><BR>We did a trip to Yosemite and then onto Monterey. This was a great trip. We stayed in Yosemite for 2 nights (we are locals so we did not have aneed to stay longer) I think 4 nights in Yosemite might be better and then add another night in Monterey. In July Monterey was cold and foggy. Great break from the heat of the valley but 2 nights was enough for Monterey. Then we went on to northern CA to wrap up our vacation. Have a terrific time. This is a great way to see lots of the best CA has to offer!<BR><BR>
