California wineries with onsite restaurants?
Could someone please tell me which wineries have restaurants? Have you eaten there? Tell me about your experience.
California actually has a number of winery regions - which one are you asking about: Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, Temecula?
Domaine Chandon has a restaurant on site and it is wonderful.
Another vote for Domaine Chandon in Napa. All restaurants have great wine lists, however Chateau Souverain in Sonoma has a really nice restaurant as well.
We'll be staying in Napa and Sonoma
By the way....any other wineries with restaurants other than the two mentioned?
...not sure about wineries with restaurants....but Ledson does have a full deli in their building. Very yummy selections too! :-)

S

Another vote for Domain Chandon! We thoroughly enjoyed a lovely lunch and champagne. Both the squab and tiger prawns were superb. Altantic salmon was good. Chocolate soufle was just fabulous!

They have an outside terrace as well as indoor seating, a tasting bar and gift shop. The tour was good too.

We were just in Napa/Sonoma and I do remember seeing a kitchen and dining area at Robert Sinskey winery on the Silverado Trail in the Stags Leap district.

I'm not sure, though, if the the space serves regular meals or if it is just used for cooking classes. (They were prepping for a cooking class when we were there.) You may want to call the vineyard and check.

The other wineries I know of with restaurants have already been mentioned-Domaine Chandon (Yountville) and Chateau Souverain (Healdsburg). I would recommend making reservations if you are interested.
