Over the years we have lived in the beautiful Golden State we have seen many popular attractions. Yet it is so vast that we still have a long list of places we need to cover. But on this 10 day road trip we did not want to rush and make it only about visiting popular tourist destinations. Nice report and pictures. Funny, when we hiked at Point Reyes to see the tule elk, we saw none on the hike, but when we got back to the parking lot several were waiting for our return.
