Cabin in the georgia or north carolina mountains.

We are looking for a cabin on the mountains,
with a beautiful view, to spend Christmas
this year, and if possible two or three
cabins for the whole family.
Any suggestions, or websites to start looking, We were thinking to stay 5 days
or so. Thank you for suggestions!!!

You can try stayinnc.com, vacationrentals.com, vrbo.com, cyberrentals.com, or do a search for "vacation cabin" or "vacation rental," with the "town," and "state," nc or ga. I know of two basically identical cabins across the street from each other in Murphy (Cherokee County), but they are in the woods on a mountain, both 2BR 1BA, both sleep 6. You can see the mountains all around you, but not always a clear view of mountains from the deck. It is a very, very peaceful and quiet area with wildlife around. VRBO is the biggest site, you will have many to choose from, some small ones and some big ones. Good luck in your search!

I've had good experience with www.rentourcabins.com for homes in the Boone/Blowing Rock/Linville areas.

I second the post about Black Bear Cabin Rentals. We have been staying at their cabins for 5 or 6 years now, and have never been dissappointed. Again the website is:www.blackbearcabinrentals.com
