Cabanas at Venetian, LV

I'm going to LV with some friends at the end of September and was wondering whether renting a cabana at the pool is worth it. The cabana accomodates 6 and I think it's about $265 for the day. Has anyone rented one at the Venetian before?

Hi:

Well, I did not rent a cabana @ Venetian, but I did spend an afternoon @ the pool in late May. I gotta tell you, based on what I saw, I don't think it's worth it. I didn't see hardly any wait staff, so if you plan on having drinks/food, you better be prepared to get them yourself. The cabanas themselves look nice, and you do get a "private" area to sun in front (but it's really just separated from the main pool area by a small fence).

Frankly, overall, I wasn't that impressed w/the Venetian, esp. when compared to Bellagio.

We rented a cabana at Bally's and had a blast. It is well worth the money if you have a group of people! I've stayed at Venetian and found the hotel to be top notch.

we also did not rent one - they are also hard to get - they save them often for high rollers or casino guests - so if you want one - try to reserve it way in advance. I think if you had 6 people splitting it it might be worth it.

I think they are way more then 265.00 - I seem to recall it being closer to 350.00 but I could be wrong.

I have rented cabanas at the Cove in Atlantis and St. Regis in Orange County - and they were a lot nicer then the ones at the Venetian.

If you really want to go high end you can rent a cabana at "The Beach" portion of the Venetian pool area by Tao restaurant/nightclub for 1k. But in general I would not spend the $$ unless it's really important to you to be out of the sun. Also check the pool operating hours as they may be less than regular summer times. Never used one and did just fine. Plenty of chairs though it does get so crowded that there may be people on both sides of you.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, I checked on the price and on weekends it's $350. We decided it's not worth it.
