cab fare from Newark?
 

Question...how far is Warren, NJ from the Newark airport and how much should I expect to pay for a taxi?

I have a turnaround flight and rental car reserved. However, I will be really tired and don't want the hassle.

It's about $35-$40 plus tip. (Warren is about 5 miles further west off route 78 from were I live.)

Sounds like I would break even with a rental car. The car runs about $55 plus all of the fees, tax, and gas. So a taxi it is!

For anyone else that may be interested in the future...cab fare is $51 one-way to that area. Found out when I asked for the taxi and the attendant gave me the little slip of paper.

Taxi fares from Newark to virtually any point in NJ and NY are fixed and are on the website for Newark airport, go to http://www.newarkairport.com and look. Sorry I did not see your message before, or I could have pointed you to this site to get a better idea of the fare.

I was prepared for the cost. A little more than I wanted to pay but I did not have to deal with hassel of returning the car before my flight. It all worked out
