C'mon up!

Just in case the election doesn't go your way, here's the solution:

I'd love to have most of you as neighbours (some...well, maybe not so much )!

But if we come up, we'll bring the housing and market situations along, you might re-think your invitation

this sounds so tempting.
dd had gone into mourning after the 2004 election and tried to convince us to move to canada.
we may just do that this time around if the dreadful happened.

So glad they issue maple syrup upon arrival.

It does say it's not as cold as you think.....is that true?

Funny - fortunately it's starting to look as though it won't be necessary. I've been surprised before, though.

We were just in the Canadian Rockies last month. I would move there in a heartbeat if I could! Loved Canmore -- real estate prices are a bit unreal, though. Beautiful country, friendly people, and cute toques (haha).

Well, let's see -- last night, October 31, we sat on the front porch in jeans and sweaters to give out candy and then we put on cotten jackets and went for a long walk. Today, Nov 1, was sunny and equally mild.

Now on the other hand, and at the risk of losing you all, last winter we had almost record snowfall!

GTG, I was just teasing, I've actually spent a fair amount of time in several Canadian cities. Heck, I once visited an oil town in the Northern Territories! I'm not sure I'm up for a winter in, say, Saskatoon for example! Lovely to visit though.
