BWI & Inner Harbor
 

What city is the airport and the Inner Harbor actually in? I was trying to check the mileage but need the exact name of the cities. Also, where is Fells Pt from the Inner Harbor. Are these areas walk only or can one drive and park a vehicle? Thanks.

The Inner Harbor is in Baltimore City; BWI airport is pretty close to Odenton, although that may not be the town it's actually in. Fell's Point is just east of the Inner Harbor...it's about a 25-minute walk on a pleasant path. There's a lot of parking just west of the center of Fell's Point and quite a number of garages in the Inner Harbor area.

Actually I'm remembering from a news report that BWI may be in LInthicum, MD...or at least Linthicum is very very close. Talked to a friend; Odenton is actually a few miles away.

There is a water taxi that serves the Inner Harbor / Fells Point area, so you can park in the vicinity, get an all-day ticket on water taxi, and travel to various sites. The light rail & Baltimore Metro system also have stops convenient to Inner Harbor.

BWI is near Glen Burnie and is very well situated for a foray into Baltimore. It is just up Rt 295. Inner Harbor is downtown and Fells Pt. is close by. If you like to drink, Fells Point is the place for you. Lots of little bars.
