Buying a Condo in Orlando
The area around Lake Whisperwood, ORLANDO is a derirable area to buy a condo below of 30K?
|
Do you mean that you are asking if the area you mention is a good place to buy a condo for less than $30,000?
|
I want to know if this area is safe, quit and if 30K is a good price, because I'm buying two bedroom condo.
|
Um, before I spent $30,000 I would do a whole lot of research on the spot - checking out neighborhoods and current local prices. You can get info on renting for vacation here - but it isn;t a real estate board.

The condo market in Florida is so unbelievably depressed right now that you can make a cash offer and buy a condo for about 50% of what they were worth in 2005.
However, $30,000 for a two bedroom condo is raising red flags to me. |

I think some of the advice you received in your previous post http://tinyurl.com/cgj3lv still applies, particularly your concerns about safety and noise. I agree with the comments of nytraveler. You probably need to schedule a trip here and spend several days with a realtor who will show you various neighborhoods with condos in your price range. He/she can answer your specific questions about safety, noise, schools, etc. I, personally, would never try to buy real estate in Florida (or elsewhere) sight unseen. |
I'm suddenly reminded how easy it was for land and real estate developers in Florida to scam millions of people with their fraudulent sales. I thought today people were smarter than buying something sight unseen because someone they didn't even know told them it was a good deal. What's that phrase about one born every minute?
