Butterflies in Pacific Grove

I was just wondering if anyone has been to see the butterflies in Pacific Grove lately. I know it's getting close to the end of the season for them. Does anyone know if they are still around enmasse or has the bulk of the population gone north?

We still have tons of Monarchs in Santa Cruz. We just visited them at Natural Bridges last week, in between downpours. I know the viewing area in PG was closed for awhile because a tree fell after a storm and I think killed somebody. They were nervous about re-opening it because the soil was so saturated and the trees were unstable. So, the butterflys are there , I just don't know if you can see them.
Come see them in Santa Cruz, then have a nice lunch on the wharf. Stagnaro's maybe?

Thanks. We might end up in Santa Cruz. We have a friend coming to visit this week so we are going to do some wandering around.

Check out all the old VW Vans while in Santa Cruz....they all go there to die. It is an amazing thing.

LOL about the VW vans. I grew up in Santa Cruz - I am quite familiar with them. ;)
