I wil be in Boston next week
June 20 to 24
Any suggestions on what to do after my days of meetings
I've been to the basics tourist stuff
Looking for what the locals might do!

Where will you be staying?

Walking Newbury Street/south end area is fun for people-watching.

Irish pub - Amrhein's in Southie for a pint (not many tourists make it here b/c it's definitely off the beaten track.)

If not a Sox game night, you could go to the Boston Beer Works across from Fenway for a glass of their blueberry ale (sounds terrible, but tastes great.)

Maybe a Fenway tour (if you've not done it.)

Fire and Ice for dinner is a popular, but gimmicky place where you pick the food and bring it up to a giant circular grill and they'll cook it up for you (more fun in small groups.)

You could also go to the North End for some good italian at lunch (some places off Hanover Street will be quiet, and too small for tourists.) Good pizza at Pizzeria Regina (on Thatcher St, near Prince St) also in the North End.

The public garden is also a cool place to just hang out. You could also hang out in Harvard Square and check out Grendel's Den (another local bar.)

An absolutely unique Boston experience, not far from your hotel, is the Christian Science Mother Church and its renowned Mapparium, a giant transparent globe that you walk through.

Alot of sports figures hang out at Sonsie's on Newbury St, almost across from the Virgin megastore.. The Armani café and Stephanies are good people watching sidewalk cafés.
