bush gardens virginia beach

would it be too hot to go to bush gardens in july or august?

Busch Gardens is in Williamsburg. Search a site like www.intellicast.com for average temps there in July/August and then decide for yourself.

It could easily be in the 90's or at least the 80's. It will be very muggy (humid) undoubtedly.

Is that 'too hot' for you?

Just use a lot of sunscreen, hit the water rides and have a good time.

we want a short stay in va beach...just two nights...any recommendations?

I just spent two nights in Virgina beach...stayed at one of the hotels on the beach. there are very many and 2 days was definitely enough. doesn't really matter which hotel you stay at....the hilton was gorgeous and expensive but the others were all nice. I stayed at the fairfield suites which had a great breakfast buffet.

We have season passes to Busch Gardens Williamsburg. There are plenty of places in the part that are air conditioned and cool, and the property is heavily wooded and there is lots of shade. Every restaurant will give out free cups of ice water. Be sure to go to Grogan's Pub or Festhaus and get a seating at the Brewmaster's Club, you will get snacks and free samples of Anheuser Busch products. Take hats, sunscreen, water, comfortable walking shoes.
