It's a nice "Old World Europe" themed amusement park witb lots of roller coasters and other amusements. V Plan on a long, full day. It would be very convenient to stay at Kingsmill Resort if you can swing it; it is right next door to the amusement park. You could also get a package with other Williamsburg area attractions like Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown Settlement, etc. You'll want to look intot that if you're going to be there a few days.

Great place. We ended up spending 2 full days at the park because there is so much to do. It has a couple of the best coaster rides in the county. Don't miss the Octoberfest celebration in Germany. The Vesuvius ride is great for cooling off. Each section (European country) provides authentic food and entertainment. Enjoy!

One of the best vacations my family has had! Busch Gardens is a great park..roller coaster fans must ride the Loch Ness Monster! Lots of shade..Well worth time to see Williamsburg and Jamestown..9 & 12 year olds still talk about the ships.
My sister was actually a performer at Busch Gardens last summer, so I spent a lot of time there. Its a wonderful park with excellent attractions - not as big as Disney, but I'd rate the rides, atmosphere and entertainment right up there with Disneyworld. The Alpengeist rollercoaster is one of the wildest I have ever been on. The food is a little pricey, but you it's excellent and you get portions large enough to share. (they serve authentic dishes of the particular country you're in). Historic Williamsburg and Jamestown are
wonderful too.

I took my children to Busch Gardens in Va last summer. My daughter, who loves roller coasters, had a great time. My son, who won't get on them, did not find much to keep him entertained. It's definitely not a Disney type theme park, it's more like a Six Flags. There were some places with "entertainment", but it tended to be kind of cheesy "authentic" dancing. I don't mean to bad mouth it, but unless you're a fan of crazy roller coasters, you may not like it much. But my daughter says the roller coasters are the best anywhere.

Would highly recomend it.

Great roller coasters. Alpinegeist(sp?) was rated the scariest rollercoaster in the country.

There's stuff for both adults and kids. I also believe it has a deal with Water Country USA (next door)so you can go over and do things there to.
