I like the limoliner too, but the schedule is very restrictive. I believe they only have ONE bus, so it goes back and forth, making 2 round trips in a day.

Wow, this Limo Liner looks very good! They have about 4 departures a day in each direction, some at times that I avoid on Amtrak due to the higher ticket prices. They go Hilton NYC to Hilton Back Bay, which is convenient, too. www.limoliner.com/features/schedule.html

Well, tomorrow I'll be on good ole Amtrak again since I already bought the tix. But I think I'll try the Limo Liner next time - thanks for the tip!

Why not take the train?

Gekko, MFNYC said "She can take the train for the heavy traffic travel times like Thanksgiving, but if she wants to come home on in-between weekends, I'd prefer the more economical route." The train was discussed a fair amount up above on this thread...

So I tell my daughter that Greyhound (or the other 'name' bus companies) is the way to go. So she tells me she did some of her own research. Low and behold...what did she come up with ???? None other than Fung Wah. She says everyone uses them and never has any problems.

I told her for an extra $10 she can take greyhound (it will be my money anyway!).

I really, really would tell her to avoid Fung Wah. They have a terrible safety record and had a number of accidents recently.
