Bus from Boston to LGA
Does anyone know of a bus company that travels from Boston to laguardia airport in NY?
|
I think you'll probably have to take a bus into Manhattan and then a separate bus to LGA.
|
None that I'm aware of. Plenty of buses to Manhattan and then you can get a bus to NYC. Some have drop offs at numerous places in Manhattan, some close to connections that will get you to the airport.
|
Um, wouldn't flying be a lot faster?
|
Dumb question but I'll ask anyway - Where can you fly to from Laguardia that you can't fly from Logan?
I don't think there is a bus that is any better than taking an Amtrak train. |
Hi Elly!
There is a great site that lets you search bus travel between any two cities in the U.S. http://www.wanderu.com but they require an invitation to use it while they are in private beta. I just did a search for you and here is the info for a bus/transportation from Boston to Laguardia: You can take: Boltbus.com from South Station to 34th and 8th avenue (will cost around $15 depending on day traveling and when you book). At 8th avenue you take the subway, E train going towards Jamaica Center. Get out at Parsons/Archer (8 stops) and walk 3 minutes to Roosevelt Av/76 St and take the Q33 Bus to Laguardia Airport. Hope this helps!! |
Yes, it was a dumb question.
|
To add to what castingpf said, at Penn Station you can also get the airport bus that goes directly to LGA. It's about $12-15 one way and a lot easier than train and bus, IMO.

Thanks so much guys!! I decided the train would be the best option. I can't believe they don't have a straight stop to the airport! Thank you for all your help and research:))

Still didn't answer my dumb question. Where are you going that you can't get to from Logan?
