Burlington - Fall Foliage?

I know it is hard to predict, but would the fall foliage be at or past peak the weekend of 9/17? Thanks.

Our names are similar!

Some one from northern Vermont can better answer your question, but here in south-central Vermont, September 17 would typically not be the best time for foliage, which seems to peak sometime in mid-October. But you're right, hard to predict.

Thats too early for fall foliage in the Burlington area. For any sort of foliage at that early date, you'd have to go over to the Northeast Kingdom (Northeastern part of VT), and even then it's a tad early for there. Generally speaking, the best time to come to VT for foliage is very late Sept and the first 2 weeks of October.

Plan on one week either side of Columbus Day. The farther north you are, the earlier it peaks...and remember that "Peak" is subjective.
